Jean-Louis CAPEZZALI began his musical studies at the age of 9 by the piano.
Five years later he started the oboe with Gaston Longatte at Versailles Conservatory leaving two years later
with the first prize and the Honor Prize.
In mars 1979, he hold a Postgraduate Certificate on teaching music and he appointed principal oboe of Lamoureux Orchestra.
In 1984, he began the Principal Oboe of The Radio France Philharmonique.
In 1982, he won Genève Competition and Prague Competition in 1986.
During four years, he assist Maurice Bourgue in the National Conservatory of Paris and he was promoted to the rank of full Professor.
Since 1998, he teaches in the National Conservatory of Lyon.
In 2008, he creates the oboe class in Lausanne at the HEMU.
Distinguished gest in the Major Festival such Pablo Casals, Kumo, Naantali, Seoul Spring Jean-Louis CAPEZZALI leads a very active performing. As a oboe soloist, he plays with the best and the most beautiful Orchestra in the world : The Radio France Philharmonique, Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse, Montpellier Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Taïwan, Chamber Orchestra of Japan.
He gives Master Class all over the world, on the five continent : China, Japan, Korea, Taïwan, Scandinavia, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, United States of America, Italia, Spain, Australia..
